Who's your favourite band ever? And why?

Just curious :) Mine's is by far Avenged Sevenfold (A7X). Best band ever, in my opinion. I just find it so special and personal they take music styles from bands they love and admire, and add in their own twist, and make it their own. What I think you don't see enough of is bands who aren't afraid to diversify, maybe they're scared they'll lose fans, but only true fans will stick by their side and not brand them "sell-outs." And bands who are not afraid to try something different, even if it means they could lose some of their fans. I believe a7x do all they can to make the music their own. Their lyrics are like stories, and are so profound and meaningful. Once you listen to Waking The Fallen, and can't make out 80% of the lyrics, then read them as you're listening, it blows your mind how complex and poetic each song is. They are, by far in my opinion, the best, most interesting and likeable band in the world and I feel privaleged to be such a huge fan, and I just wanna know if you feel the same about your fave band, and who they are :) Music is so important to me, I like to here other's perspective, it makes me smile when I see people who have a strong love for music like how I do :) thanks :)
