My boyfriend is too conservative!?

My boyfriend is just too conservative! I want to do all kinds of differant ual stuff but he just isnt up for it because it "makes him feel like a perv". I asked him to buy KY warming gel so I could mage him and his "man parts" but when he went to the store last time he said he couldnt buy it because he would feel like a perv. I would buy it if I had the money! And this summer I want to be out with him somewhere and use excessive PDA to freak out little old ladies...but I know he wont do this because he is "conservative". Any advice on how to talk to my man about this and help him get over it?
