Can a Christian still be a stranger to God's Covenant if He doesn't understand all of it's benefits?

Yes and no, If you give up you can be a stranger, there is many things we do not understand but in tim it is given to us if we don't give up, Remember the prize isn't given to the fastest in a race but to the one that finishes the race. Taking in knowledge constantly gives understanding.
