How do I do place them?

Well, I have dark circles under my eyes and I was reading online that putting 2 metal spoons in the freezer for half an hour then putting them over your eyes for 10 minutes would make the darkness go away. Well, how do I place the spoons over my eyes? Do I use the backside or the part where you use to eat it, I call it "the scoop." And do I cover my whole eye with the spoon or do I just put it over that specific part?
