Need scope advice for a 6.5mm Rifle.?

if you are looking online the best bet in my opinion is the Bushnell for the low priced models (4x12x40 Adj-Obj) this means the scope is a Variable 4 power to12 power with 40 mm Objective with an adjustable objective, which I really recommend, not the other end of the spectrum is the high end scopes i.e Leupold,Night force,Swift ect if you want to go that way it will be expensive, but then again You! did not say what the actual cartridge is that you would be using, is it a 260 Remington,264 Winchester magnum or a,6.5 military mauser, if it is the latter then you might be better off just getting a side mount and a straight 4 or 6 power scope shots to 300 yards would longest I would take with that set-up
