My cat brought home (cornered) a wild /domestic bunny Now another mutilated one?

Sunday my cat cornered a very small bunny {domesticate breed yet ld). My granddaughter rescued, bought a cage for and needless to say, fell in love with. Today, for what ever reasons, dead!!!! Very sad little girl. Later this morning my little pal "The Proud Cat" brought home another bunny {headless}. He is very PROUD! I know a lot of you think it is gross and that my cat should be indoors. Oh well!!!! My concerns are with my granddaughter so I suggested the viewing of LION KING!!!! to remind her of the cycle of life. However, that does not soften the impact of the current murder cycle.....any suggestions??????
