HOW does feeding diminish fertility if you are ovulating ok?
feeding shouldn't be inhibiting conception at this point, although it is possible. If you are only nursing twice a day that shouldn't be enough to stop anything. There is a theory out there however, that the mother won't get pregnant if she unconsciously feels that she can't handle another baby at that point. This is very true for mothers who have high-need toddlers and would physically be unable to care for another baby. But it can also come if you may be stressed about money, moving, a job, your husband, in-laws, any number of things. It may not even be something that you are aware of at this point but your body knows its limits. You can read about this in The Fussy Baby Book by Dr. Sears. I hope this helps and maybe sheds a little light on what could possibly be hindering conception. Good Luck!
