Should I tell my husband that someone else is interested in me?

My husband and I have been together for almost 20 years. Our marriage has been strained lately. He is not very affectionate or complimentary. Our love life is still good but I need affection outside of the bedroom. I have discussed this with him and we have gone to counselling but no change. He acts like no one else could ever be interested in me. Just recently, I came into contact w/ an old flame. It was totally on platonic terms to start but now has become flirtatious. I have made it clear that I have no intentions of cheating and nothing else will come of it but should I let my husband know of this outside interest? Does anyone have an experience to let me know whether this could work to wake him up?
